Port Training Services and the Port of Blyth are proud to be hosting the Blyth Valley Jobs Fair on Wednesday 13 October, which aims to bring employment opportunities to hundreds of people in the local area.

Run in partnership with Ian Levy MP and the Department for Work & Pensions and supported by Northumberland College, this free event will bring local employers, jobs and communities together.

If you’re looking for full-time, part-time, apprenticeship, graduate or seasonal work, the Jobs Fair has something for everyone. Find your future career and learn more about the career paths open to you with some of the region’s biggest employers.

Companies taking part include: Britishvolt, ORE Catapult, Port of Blyth, ISG, Morgan Sindall, NG Bailey, Tharsus, Draeger, Northern Rail, NHS, RAF, Coop, Lidl, Advance Northumberland, Akzonobel, Arriva, APS, B&B Attachments, McDonalds, Moody Logistics and Storage, Greggs, Texo, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Active Northumberland, Northumbria Police, Kwik Fit, Commissioners Quay, Northumberland County Council, Armed Forces, Bernicia, Northumberland Fire & Rescue Service and more.

There will be wide variety of employers exhibiting on the day with a wide variety of different roles to suit various skill, experience and educational backgrounds. The event is open to anyone who is looking for a new or change in career and is completely free to attend.
