19 November 2025

PTS, the training division of the Port of Blyth, is pleased to share that Mark Crozier has joined the team as an Instructor/Assessor. Mark began his career with the Port of Blyth over 15 years ago, and in that time rose to the rank of supervisor before his transition to the PTS team. During his 15 years, Mark has gained a vast amount of knowledge and expertise of the Port and Offshore Energy sectors and extensive hands-on expertise in operating a wide range of plant and port equipment, including forklifts, reach stackers, cranes and more.

In his new role, Mark will support PTS’s missions to deliver high-quality practical and vocational training, ensuring delegates are equipped with the knowledge, skills and behaviours to make their working environment both safer and more productive. His deep understanding of day-to-day port operations will further enhance the relevance and quality of PTS’s training offer.

Paul Parry, Head of Training at PTS, said: “We are delighted to welcome Mark to the team. It’s been a pleasure to see Mark’s career develop at the Port, and his experience and professionalism will be an asset to the team to further strengthen our commitment to delivering high-quality, industry-leading training.”

Sharing his thoughts on joining PTS, Mark added: “I am thrilled to be joining the PTS team and embarking on a new pathway in my career. I’m looking forward to passing on my knowledge and experience, and helping others build the skills they need to work safely and confidently. Whether it’s people just starting out or experienced workers looking to upskill and gain new qualifications, it’s a great opportunity to support high standards across the port and offshore energy sectors.”
