Emergency First Aid at Work Course

The aim of this course is to provide the theoretical knowledge and practical skills to provide basic lifesaving first aid.

At the end of course delegates will be able to:

• Understand the roles and responsibilities of an Emergency First Aider
• Assess an incident
• Recognise and assist a casualty who is choking
• Manage a casualty who:
  • Is unresponsive and is breathing normally
  • Is unresponsive and isn’t breathing normally
  • Has external bleeding
  • Is in shock
  • Has a minor injury
