Diploma in Warehousing and Storage Level 3

The aim of this course is to provide learners with advanced level knowledge and understanding of warehousing and storage.

Content

This qualification is a vocational qualification and has been approved by employers within the warehousing and storage industry. The qualification focuses on the knowledge and, where appropriate, practical skills associated with warehousing & storage. The learner must present evidence (portfolio) which clearly shows they have met the assessment criteria and learning outcomes. The learner must achieve the mandatory and optional units relevant to their role.

Objective

To aid individuals who:

• Are already employed in a warehouse and storage facility, distribution centre, transport or freight forwarding operation in the logistics industry
• Already have good experience, skills and an understanding of the logistics industry. They should ideally already be in a supervisory or team leading role or looking for promotion
• Are undertaking a Skills for Logistics apprenticeship
• Are aged 16 and above who are capable of meeting the standards
